We believe that much of the valuable knowledge and experience accumulating in general aviation is not being passed on to the next generation. In this section we are aiming to gradually build up a database of flights conducted by LFS pilots to serve as ideas, reminders or warnings for other pilots looking for the next challenge.

Arkaroola (YARK) - You can avoid days of driving by flying directly to this rugged wilderness, hidden in South Australia's remote Flinders Ranges. Click here to see the photos of Lilydale's recent trip!
Flinders Island (FLI) - There is plenty to do on this Bass Strait island for friends, family and enthusiastic pilots for a weekend or a week!
Fraser Island - Although a bit of journey, this beautiful place has a lot to offer airbourne visitors. With several good airstrips available, accomodation for all budgets, and 4WDs for hire - what more could you want?
King Island (YKII) - Discover this fascinating island, rich in scenery, history and a great dairy!
Milawa (YILA) - Less than an hour from Melbourne near Wangaratta, the beautiful Brown Brothers winery and restaurant allows you to indulge in most of the finer things in life in one sitting!

Three Hummock Island (YTHM) - Visit this island nature reserve, just 1hr from Melbourne.
Torquay (YTQY) - Less than an hour's easy flying from Lilydale you can enjoy the day at Torquay indulging in a Tiger Moth joy flight, a walk to a nearby and deserted beach, or letting the kids run riot in the fun park at the airfield! Details coming soon.
