PPLs approach with care. This is the view of Glenburn Gap on a marginal day. As you can see, the cloud is just on the hills on the left but you can see the next ridges lines on the other side. More importantly, the cloud is above the hills on the right so there is plenty of room to turn around if it deteriorates on the other side.
Don't forget! Lilydale Airport is open 7 days per week during daylight hours,
and has runway lighting by arrangement.
