Lilydale was delighted to host a Starlight Children's Day on March 3 2007. Over a dozen Lilydale private owners and nearly 2 dozen pilots volunteered their aircraft and services to help fly some seriously ill kids. There were also plenty of ground activities with hot motorbikes, 'Star'-men, Star Wars lookalikes, Great food from the Lilydale Rotary Club, plus even a mini airshow featuring Paul Andonicou, Scott Patterson, David Pilkington and Andrew Temby.
Don't forget! Lilydale Airport is open 7 days per week during daylight hours,
and has runway lighting by arrangement.
