A rare Australian Wirraway is also part of the museum's collection. One
of these actually managed to shoot down a famous Japanese Zero during WW2
even though it struggled to top 220mph compared with over 300mph for the
latter. Together with the Hudson, this aircraft resided for many years at
the Wangaratta Airworld which closed in the early 1990s.
