Lilydale Airport NEW!!
Lilydale Airport is situated on MacIntyre Lane half-way between Lilydale and Yarra Glen. Prior permission is required to land and this can be obtained in person or by phone from Flight Operations at Lilydale Flying School on (03) 9739 1211. Permission can NOT be obtained on CTAF 119.1 or from anyone other than an employee of Lilydale Airport.
We ask that you refer and adhere to our Local Procedures to ensure that we look afer those live close by. Tiedowns are available to the south of the Lilydale Flying School building.

Lilydale Airport is open 8.30am to 5.30pm 7 days per week except Christmas Day. Runway lights are available by prior arrangement and are pilot activated on CTAF 119.1.
Services
Lilydale Airport is a Fixed Base Operator and can provide everything a visitor arriving by air needs:
* AVGAS payment by cash, cheque or credit card/EFTPOS (no carnet)
* Internet, phone & fax facilities in comfortable lounge with fresh coffee/cold water
* Rolfe Aviation Maintenance (weekdays, weekends by arrangement)
* Accomodation - hotels, hostels and bed & breakfasts
Fly-in visitors can pick up a car by arrangement and enjoy a wide range of attractions just a few minutes drive. These include some of Australia's finest wineries, the Healesville wildlife sanctuary, great golfing or bushwalking, elegant accomodation & fantastic restaurants.
Wines & Wineries
With stunning views, a host of diverse tourist attractions and some of the finest wines Australia produces, the Yarra Valley has much to offer the visitor and the wine lover alike. The climate of the region is halfway between two of France's finest winemaking regions, Burgundy and Bordeaux.
The cool climate wines produced can be said to be equal to some of the finest wines anywhere. World-class sparkling wines, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz all thrive and prosper in the Yarra Valley's temperate environment.
