Flinders Island Discovery Tour

Discover this largest but little-known island in Bass Strait. Our colourful local guide will show you its beautiful mountains and beaches and unlock its turbulent past.

Lilydale Air Services flies you to Lady Barron airport on the south side of the island to be met by Rob Holloway of 'Partridge Farm'.

After visiting Lady Barron township and the Vinegar Hill lookout, he takes you to his home overlooking Adelaide Bay for morning tea.

Following this, you will drive past the impressive Strzelecki Ranges (higher than Mount Dandenong) to beautiful Trousers Point then the main town of Whitemark, to Wybalenna. This is the chapel-cemetery of the last settlement of Tasmanian aborigines.

After a gourmet picnic lunch at a picturesque beach, Rob continues his scenic circular drive of the southern half of the island. There will be a stop at the 'Latitude 40' property where quality wool products can be bought at the door.
