Bring home King Island cheeses, beef, crayfish and other gourmet produce on a fun day tour from the Yarra Valley! Lilydale Air Services is again liasing with Adrian Gobel of King Island Discovery Tours for a tasty introduction to life on this colourful Bass Strait island. Your tour starts in a comfortable twin-engine, executive aircraft which leaves Lilydale at 0830 for a short flight down to the island. Adrian will take you first for a luscious Devonshire tea followed by a scenic drive. This includes the main town Currie and its picturesque harbour, the stunning coastline and a unique kelp farm. Lunch will be a gourmet picnic by the sea and then there is a leisurely visit to the King Island Dairy 'Fromagerie' before the return flight. Taste and buy these famous cheeses from the door and learn how they are made! You will also have the chance to buy superb gourmet produce including beef and even crayfish 'fresh off the boat' by arrangement. WHEN? November & December 2005. Dates TBA. WHAT'S INCLUDED?
