Adjusting to the "new horizon" at LFS

We hope you are well and have kept your personal balance ball "in the middle" during these confronting times.  Thankfully it is slowly becoming apparent that the worst is behind us although we will all be adjusting to a "new horizon" for some time.

Many LFS pilots have made great progess by studying at home while many more are logging on to the great RPL Theory (nee BAK) and PPL Theory courses running via Zoom on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

After careful consideration of Federal and State government advice, we are again taking bookings for all flight training.  We do this whilst asking everyone to continue to take all appropriate precautions, namely:

  • Disinfecting of all aircraft each day
  • Providing of facemasks for anyone who would like them, and
  • Asking anyone having had KNOWN CONTACT with a COVID-19 patient (or displaying any cold/flu-like symptoms) to not come out in person

We STRONLY URGE all students to acquire their own headset (doesn't have to be a flashy Bose one) as its difficult to disinfect the earmuffs of our own headsets.

Lastly, we recognise that all clients have their own individual circumstances which may or may not make it possible for them to fly at the present time.

Thank you for your support of our small business.
