LFS Online - Getting to grips with GPS

Last week's Wednesday's Part One GPS Seminar with Matt Gault and Gary McGhee was very successful.  If you want to watch it and missed it, we put the video up on YouTube here.  This will be very useful for you before we start Part Two this Wednesday, which is a workshop on the Garmin 430 and 296 series GPS receivers as found in many of our aircraft

Pilots who complete both parts of the course and pass a short online questionnaire and a practical assessment at LFS will receive a GPS Course Completion Certificate and be better equipped to venture further afield when we are allowed to!

This week's seminar link is :

It will be live from 5:45pm for a 6pm start on Wednesday evening (ie. tonight!)  We will also publish the Zoom session information on our Facebook page today, and  send weekly emails for each upcoming session.  Please contact us to arrange a Moodle account if you don't have one already if you want to complete the GNSS course.
